Job Description

As a key member of the Quality Assurance Department, you will be responsible for maintaining appropriate records for efficient operation, including data analysis and quality metrics that will ensure meeting quality objectives and to provide clerical and administrative support.

What you will do:

  • Support in maintenance of company inspection data and quality metrics.
  • Assist in the creation, posting and distribution of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual production/quality performance reports.
  • Data entry of bus release information. Ensure all required release documentations are provided to Crookston.
  • Organize, archive and retrieve production books and other quality assurance documents for Winnipeg and Crookston.
  • Perform research from past quality data and paper works to assist investigation of present/incoming issues.
  • Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Office applications in providing administrative support and creation of metrics.
  • Support companywide 5S program by doing 5S audits in plant. Lead office 5S program for the QA office.
  • Coordinate with property inspectors and assist in maintenance of property inspector’s offices.
  • Coordinate with customs coordinator for price information of coaches. Ensure customs documents are filed accordingly for release of coaches.
  • Maintain, distribute and updates of quality standards and quality alert.
  • Ensure all quality reports are standard throughout all three facilities. Provide training/mentoring to QA administrators in all other facilities.
  • Review and consolidate collection plans in live QA on a daily basis.
  • Provide other administrative duties and clerical support for the quality assurance department as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • College diploma in technical writing would be an asset.
  • Two years office administration or clerical work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle and Excel skills are required
