Position Summary:

As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for planning and providing administrative support to the Bench Assembly team. You will provide ongoing status updates of kits and assemblies required by our customers through reviewing daily planning priorities, coordinating, scheduling, releasing and reserving parts for the work orders.

What you will do:

  • Review daily MRP planning reports for priority and accuracy.
  • Schedule and release work orders for the bench assembly and outside process work orders.
  • Allocate and reserve stock to work orders.
  • Prioritize daily workload with the category manufacturing group lead and interface with the customer service representative on status of priority orders.
  • Work with buyers to expedite material for work orders.
  • Create work order shortage list for expediting.
  • Update schedule start dates to reflect anticipated receipt dates of missing parts.
  • Create rework orders as requested by the buyers for rejected components.


Preferred Skills

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Bill of Materials and material routings
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication
  • Possess excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Oracle will be considered an asset
