Position Summary:As a key member of our Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for the management of program requirements as it relates to manufacturing and subcontractors of special programs to support our NFI Parts organizational objectives. You will be accountable for evaluating, prioritizing, solving challenges and communicating essential information to personnel within various areas. You will also assist in testing, training and implementing IT system requirements, and other supporting procedures.

What you will do:

• Provide daily operational guidance to cross-functional departments and subcontractors.

• Manage issues that may arise to the program schedule.

• Conduct and participate in regular program meetings, ensuring the calibration of the contract with the appropriate stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain solid partnerships with the subcontractors within the program.

• Review reports to schedule and manage work orders based on priority and parts availability, provide status updates to the Customer Service Team.

• Schedule and release purchase orders for subcontractors and work orders for Kitting area, and update schedule based on parts availability.

• Set-up and maintain all necessary part attributes including template, buyer, lead-time, and future cost.

• Conduct annual reviews to re-evaluate standard costs for all in kitted items related to the program.



Preferred Skills



• Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain Management

• Two to five years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Negotiation, and/or Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) in a manufacturing environment

• Adept with Microsoft Office

• Possess excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication

• Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements
