 Position Summary:

As a key member of our Finance Team you will be responsible for maintaining and ongoing improvements to the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Program for all NFI Group Business Units and entity locations.

What you will do:

  • Provide support for the internal control programs for the NFI Group.
  • Assist with ongoing improvement to NFI Group’s ICFR program by refreshing risk and control matrixes and working with process owners to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Assist corporate finance and business units with documenting current process, risk and control matrixes for key processes.
  • Assist with business unit audits to review process and controls.
  • Provide additional support in various ad-hoc finance and compliance related projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Two to five years’ experience in a financial, accounting and auditing role.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or auditing and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, decision making and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements.
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast paced team oriented environment.
