Position Summary:

As a team member, you will support the creation and records retention of infrastructure charging equipment and construction documents. The vital importance of this role will be to create and retain all charging equipment, construction and electrical related documents for charging infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Develop and release infrastructure construction drawings and site plans with the input of the New Flyer Construction Coordinators and Charging Systems Engineer.
  • Interact with charging equipment suppliers, and engineering/design/construction firms as needed.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with design criteria and all applicable regulations.
  • Control drawings and related ECNs in accordance with engineering procedures.
  • Maintain a library of relevant safety and code requirements (local, regional, and national).
  • Retain organized Project Files for all infrastructure projects and charger installations.
  • Manage records retention in compliance with New Flyer policies and procedures.
  • Ensure service, parts and operator’s manuals are available and current for all deployed charging equipment.


Preferred Skills

  • Electrical Engineering degree required.
  • Construction project management and electrical coursework completed.
  • 3+ years of related industry experience.
  • Ability to create engineering and construction documents.
  • Familiarity with electrical code and industry best practices.
