Position Summary:

As a key member of our Business Development team, you will plan, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of the Business Development team to benefit our customers and, meet organizational and operational objectives.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new product offering opportunities.
  • Prepare, review and present business case data for new products.
  • Oversee the coordination and management of projects related to business development.
  • Oversee all data research and analysis activities related to the market, industry and regulatory environment.
  • Work with the Director to develop key performance indicators to monitor and manage specific team targets.
  • Develop plans and set team goals for market/industry research, brand management and business development.
  • Oversee and participate in developing/shaping complex proposals and start-up plans for the implementation of new programs and service offerings, monitoring success at a macro level.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new products, programs and/or service offerings.
  • Coach, mentor and develop skills of team members, coordinating any training requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years or more in a leadership role
  • Proven project management, business case development and market research experience including trend analysis
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong innovative and strategic thinking skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team-oriented environment
